Yvonne Joyce Craig

Yvonne Joyce Craig, May 16 1937 - - August 17, 2015. Craig was an American dancer and actress who was popular for her performances as Batgirl in the 1960s' TV series Batman and Marta her character, the Orion slave girl Marta as seen in Star Trek's episode "Whom Gods Deceive" (1969). The Huffington Post called her "a pioneer in female superheroes" on television. Yvonne Craig was born and raised in Taylorville, Illinois. Her family relocated to Dallas in 1951. She was a student at W. H. Adamson High School, Sunset High School as well as W. H. Adamson High School. Unfortunately, Craig didn't graduate since she was not awarded "one credits for PE". Craig was accepted into Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo as the the youngest dancer in the corps de ballerina, after being identified by Alexandra Danilova who is a dancer and instructor. It was a wonderful experience that allowed her to do stunts in the role of Batgirl. In 1957 she left the company's ballet program due to an issue regarding casting changes. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles with the hope of pursuing her dance career. But, she found herself appearing in film roles. One of her first TV performances was in the TV series Perry Mason ("The Case of the Lazy Lover") in 1958 , alongside Neil Hamilton. Hamilton later was the Batgirl's stepfather, police Commissioner James Gordon. After her appearances in The Young Land, The Gene Krupa Story (all 1959) and Gidget (all 1958) she also guest-starred as Beverly Mills on the TV show Mr. Lucky (also 1959). Craig played alongside Bing Crosby (1960), and Seven Women from Hell (1961) in which she was portrayed by Cesar Romero. In 1962, she appeared in the television show Western Laramie in the episode "The Long Road Back".Craig was in roles alongside Elvis Presley in two films that were released: It Happened at World's Fair (1963) and Kissin Cousins (1964). She also starred as a Russian dancer alongside James Coburn in Mars Needs Women (1966).

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987 was an American journalist and sports anchor. She works as a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub.
